It was near the metro, very good connection, good price, there is a big brand new supermarket open behind the hotel!!
The street was a little bit noisy during the night.

Very good location, very friendly staff.
Like almost everywhere in Paris, the rooms were very small and cramped, especially the bathroom.

Good value for money, very near to the city centre, room regularly cleaned
Poor WC hygiene, strong noise coming from the corridor (bring earplugs if you want to sleep late), no sign to hang on the door to keep staff cleaning room out on the morning.

Ready, Set, Regret (Or Not!)
Charming little hotel with friendly staff! Be aware, the rooms are quite small, but they are cozy and clean. Enjoyed the lovely breakfast and a good cafe downstairs. The steam room was broken, resulting in a slight disappointment, but the staff comped us dinner to make up for it. Will definitely return!

The staff was very nice and friendly. The location is fantastic, there is a Sunday market down the street that is really fun to check out. The metro is close, as well as a nice park across the street.
This is definitely a budget hotel, no frills or extra comforts (but that was to be expected). The bedding appears to be old and is not the most comfortable. The street is very busy and loud at all hours, it can be very difficult to sleep due to the noise.

Very small and very noisy room

Our room was a very decent size and totally satisfactory for a couple of nights stay - the bathroom was clean (although in need of a bit of TLC as others visitors have commented) with a really great shower and the bed linen was clean and fresh. The windows kept out the noise from the road below very well indeed. We were very satisfied with our stay at Aux Trois Portes - we feel it would be difficult to beat this for value for money in such a fantastic location.
As a previous visitor has commented, the walls are very thin - the very energetic antics of the occupants of the room next door woke us up - and the cleaners can be a bit enthusiastic but neither spoiled our stay.

Travelled with my daughter, spent 3 nights here and had a fairly nice stay. The room was well-appointed with comfortable bed, three different bedrooms plus a good jacuzzi and safety measures included smoke detectors. A tapas restaurant at the ground floor was an advantage. The service was very good and the food was great.
